On December 3, Transportes Ortega celebrated its 65th anniversary. Actually, the event should have been held last year, but health restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic prevented it, hence the title “65+1 Anniversary of Transportes Ortega”.
The event was held in the “Veles e Vents” building of the Port of Valencia. The event was attended by all the workers with their respective partners, in a day that was “both solemn and emotional”, as Juan Ortega himself acknowledged. After the reception, the fellowship meal was held inside. During dessert, Juan Ortega dedicated a few words of thanks for all the efforts made over the years to all the workers, and especially to the drivers who had to face COVID-19 on the front line.
One of the most emotional moments was the recognition and appreciation of four employees who celebrated 25 years with the company this year. The finale was a musical performance by singers Josephine Sweet and Liz Das.
